How to read messages and respond

Two-way communication is a hallmark of Subtext.

From your Inbox

If you go into your “Inbox” tab, the default section you land in is “Unread” messages. But you can also sort to see: All messages, Starred messages, Sent messages or messages with attachments. You’ll also see a section to manage Templates which we go into here.

Replies Per Broadcast

You can also view messages per-broadcast. In the example below the broadcast sent July 23rd has 4 responses. You can click in to see and respond to the messages that are related to that specific broadcast.

Although you’re in the broadcast tab, you have all the functionality to manage messages here such as starring messages, marking them as read, unread, etc.

Replies per Subscriber

If you go into the “Subscriber Tab” to the right of every subscriber row you’ll see how many messages have been sent back and forth with a user. clicking into that row brings you to the “conversation” view where you can respond and take actions regarding that conversation ie: take notes, respond with a template, type a response out, etc.
