The Survey Tab

Our newest tool will help you learn more about your audience and target their needs.

How do I create a survey?

To start creating custom surveys, navigate to the Survey tab of the dashboard and click the plus sign on the righthand side of the screen. See below. 

This will bring you to the New Survey screen where you will start inputting the Survey details. 

Survey Details

In this dropdown, you'll enter the following information: 

• Survey Name: Internal name you'd like to call the survey 
• Trigger Phrase: Keyword or phrase that subscribers must respond with to start the survey. Surveys cannot be accessed without a trigger keyword/phrase. 
• Survey Tag: A tag that can be applied to all subscribers who respond to the survey. This tag can then be used to segment your audience and text only those that participated in the survey. 

Questions 

Next you'll be prompted to enter your first survey question. 

All questions are formatted as multiple choice options. Simply type in the question and input the corresponding multiple choice answers. 

**Pro tip: You can include a number of questions in your survey, but we've found 3-4 questions to be the sweet spot!

Completion Message 

Once you've finished formatting your survey, you'll navigate to the Completion Message section where you can put in a quick message thanking your subscribers for taking the survey and letting them know it's been completed. 

Preview and Create your Survey

Once you have finished creating your survey, you can view a preview of what it will look like for your subscribers on the righthand side of the screen. 👀

After you've reviewed the preview, simply select Create Survey to set the survey live!

**After you select Create Survey, a pop-up will appear reminding you to prompt your subscribers with the trigger keyword/phrase in a future broadcast to access the survey. 

Live Surveys 

Once you create a survey, you'll be able to see it in your Survey tab. 

If you aren't ready to publish a survey you'll also be able to save it and find it in your Draft Surveys as well as see an archive of inactive surveys you've created in your Closed Surveys.

Closing a Survey 

To close a survey, all you need to do is click on View Results on the active survey you are looking to close. 

From here, navigate to close survey on the bottom left side of the page and you'll be able to de-activate your survey.
